Margaret Mary "Peg" Krueger
age 75, of Battle Creek died Wednesday August 14, 2002 at Marshall Tendercare after a long illness.
Peg was born November 19, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Elizabeth (Ryan) Horan. She was raised in Chicago where she graduated from high school in 1944 and came to Battle Creek in 1964. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Philip Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed music, reading and bowling and loved family gatherings.
She was married at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Chicago to Robert Herman Krueger. He preceded her in death September 29, 1993. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Kathleen, Rita and Mildred and brothers, Joseph, Eugene and Francis "Bud". She is survived by three daughters, Nancy C. (Thomas P.) Britanyak of Wausau, WI, Kathleen A. (Timothy D.) Boucher of Battle Creek, Cecelia A. (Francis) Woodrum of Battle Creek, three sons, Robert J. (Joann) Krueger of Chicago, IL, Michael K. Krueger of Tucson, AZ, Timothy F. (Christine) Krueger of Battle Creek, and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where the family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip Catholic Church 10:00 a.m. Monday with Fr. Charles H. Fischer officiating.
Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
